Sell vintage and rare cigars

Aged boxes, discontinued vitolas, limited editions and Habanos humidors are what collectors look for, and what we look for too. Tell us what you have and how it’s been kept.

What counts as vintage

Boxes with some age on them, discontinued lines, and older brands and factory marks. Storage history matters as much as age.

  • Aged boxes

Habanos with years of age, in their original boxes with codes that date them.

  • Discontinued and older lines

Vitolas and brands that are no longer made, including Cuban Davidoff and pre-embargo boxes.

  • Limited and regional editions

Ediciones Limitadas and Ediciones Regionales, recent and past.

  • Humidors and special releases

Habanos release humidors, auction humidors and anniversary releases.

What helps us value vintage cigars

The more of this you can share, the clearer our answer. A rough start is fine.

  • Box codes

The factory codes and dates stamped on the box bottoms. Photograph them clearly.

  • Storage history

Where and how the cigars have been kept, and for how long.

  • Condition

Whether boxes are sealed or opened, and any signs of damage, mould or beetle holes.

  • Provenance

Where the boxes were bought, if you know. Receipts help but aren’t required.

We don’t buy every collection, and we won’t name a price before we’ve reviewed the cigars. Purchases depend on authenticity, condition, provenance, your authority to sell, and the rules that apply where the cigars are.

How it works

Three steps, and no obligation at any point.

  1. Submit the details

Use our form or WhatsApp to send the list, photos and storage details.

  2. We review the inventory

Authenticity, packaging, condition, provenance and whether it fits what we buy.

  3. We discuss a purchase

If it qualifies, you get one clear offer with the terms, the handover and payment in cash.

Questions sellers ask

Are vintage cigars worth more?

Sometimes, but age alone doesn’t decide it. Brand, vitola, box codes, condition and storage all matter. A well-kept box is worth more than an older one stored badly.

How do you check that vintage boxes are genuine?

We look at the box, seals, bands, codes and the cigars themselves, and compare them with what was produced at the time.

Do you buy single vintage boxes?

Yes, if the box is genuine and in good condition. We also buy full collections.
